New Genesis Productions
New Genesis Productions (NGP) has been inspiring and educating young actors in the performing arts since 2002. With vibrancy and imagination, our highly respected non-profit youth theater company introduces children and teens to the enduring works of Shakespeare and other important playwrights. Our young actors are trained in acting, voice, stage combat, and movement in a deeply collaborative and supportive community. Through workshops, summer intensives, year-around classes, and scene study, we open a door into the art of theatre for the next generation. NGP believes the performing arts to be both a vital learning tool and a place where young people from diverse backgrounds can come together and create art.

Where is ngp?
Nestled deep in the Catskill Mountains, amid lush white pine, oak and maple forests, New Genesis has its own outdoor stage – named the Little Globe Theater. This unique and beautiful theater, with its surrounding woods and grounds, is where our camps, workshops, and final public performances take place.
Our site includes an extensively-stocked costume barn, the Hawk’s Nest warm-up circle in the woods, and a dressing room and covered rehearsal space known as the Tiring House. The Little Globe stage itself offers rustic benches for its audiences and plenty of space for blankets and lawn chairs.

Directions: Little Globe Outdoor Stage is located in West Shokan,
2 miles from the Boiceville
RT.28/28A Jct. One driveway past Vision Path is the entrance to the parking lot of the theatre. Watch for signs and banners. There is plenty of parking at end of this road.
