New Genesis Productions

A two-week program for older and more experienced students wishing to challenge themselves working on a full play by William Shakespeare. This year, the directors are asking students to send in an audition tape so that casting will happen ahead of camp time. The expectation is for everyone to be "off book" enough so that they can move right into the ensemble elements of the play. Basic Schedule: The mornings are spent training voice, movement, text understanding, memorization techniques, and building acting skills. After lunch and a game or a hike, the play is rehearsed toward performance. Costumes, sets and prop building are also a part of the action.
